Congratulations on taking the steps toward improving your life and emotional well-being! I am a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist, and I am glad to help you on your journey.
True healing and recovery happen when we find balance and harmony in our relationship with ourselves and others. Healing resembles a bridge that connects us with our true selves, and my role as a therapist is to help you build that bridge, heal past wounds, and rediscover joy and self-confidence. I'm here to support you on your path to a more fulfilling life! |
When we fall in love, we create a powerful connection to each other. When that attachment bond feels threatened by outside stressors, disagreements, and betrayals, we respond with criticism, blame, distancing, and emotional detachment. Over time this pattern of blaming and distancing can turn into a negative interactional cycle that brings a lot of pain to both partners. As an emotionally focused therapist, I can help you learn how to deescalate and exit the negative cycles, resolve disagreements, recover from emotional pain, have heartfelt conversations, and create intimacy and trust.

I hold a holistic approach to treatment and help my clients to explore the things that bring meaning to their life, learn to accept responsibility for their own choices, and recognize that they have the power to make changes.
I consider mental, physical, and spiritual factors that influence a person's well-being and use different techniques to help my clients understand their symptoms, foster a greater sense of self-awareness, and heal from emotional wounds. |
There are times in family lives when family memebers preparing for significant life changes, dealing with stress, and rebuilding connections with our loved ones. When I am working with families, I help family members recognize each other emotional experiences, and work together to solve problems. Families have an innate ability to heal and grow, and my role as the therapist is to facilitate this growth, balance family roles, identify and remove obstacles that prevent healing, and foster mutual understanding and support.
